14 chairlift facilities, 75 km of pistes, 2 luge runs 35 km of ski touring trails, 22 km of snowshoe trails.
With only one ski pass, take advantage of more than 220 km of snow covered slopes covering the five different resorts of Sierre-Anniviers.
From 1400 to 3000 m above sea level, skiers, snow boarders and telemark adepts will find slopes corresponding to their level of ability
And often empty slopes....
With good snow conditions I have found the skiing in St Luc will satisfy most people, on a good day the run form the Pas de Bouef down to the Prilet is superb equal to the best in any resort. Even at peak times in the busiest half term holidays the queuing is manageable.
If there is a draw back to St Luc it is that there are no chair lifts, once you are transported in under three minutes by the funicular to 2200 metres the rest of the runs are accessed by “T” bars or buttons, some of them quite long. However, it is easy to connect to Chandolin which has several chair lifts and then return to St Luc by chair lift.
For those who want more demanding skiing and more chair lifts Grimentz is only 20 minutes drive by car and the St Luc ski pass covers Grimentz. Grimentz is also a picture postcard village but the entrance to the ski bubble from the village is like many Swiss ski resorts a typical concrete monolith. The skiing in Grimentz is excellent with a very efficient chair lift system (We lack this in St-Luc!) and because of less sun than St Luc the snow tends to stay longer, it has one of the longest black runs in Switzerland.

Empty Slopes
Loads of powder
The Prilet Bar at the end of the Fabulous Prilet run
Zinal is also 20 minutes drive and has wide open runs that will suit beginners and intermediates.
The Post bus connects all the resorts but the timing is a bit complicated and requires a little bit of planning to visit the resorts by this method.
