FROM THE SLOPES
I apologise for not posting regular reports from the slopes but is has been so good have been too busy skiing !!
Temperatures have increased considerably from the lows of -14 we have had for the past weeks. The upside of these low temperatures means the pistes are still in good condition. Yesterday the upper slopes were excellent and it was only on the very lower slopes that conditions became a bit slushy but with a good depth of snow still skiable.

Perhaps not as much as last year but with the new snow canons the pistes are in excellent conditions. Temperatures arround -4-8 a bit cold but also help to keep snow in good condition

A good 30 cm of snow arrived 3 days ago should be a good base. Snow cannons on as well. Skiing in Zinal at the weekends
After a week of snow the slopes are in fantastic condition surrounded by deep powder and today mountain to mountain Blue Skies ....Magnafique!

There has been no snow fall since New years Eve.
But there was so much before that the slopes are still good a bit flat but no ice yet. Blue skies and almosy completely empty slopes
